I am new to this. My wife has told me two weeks ago that she wants a divorce. She said that she can't trust me with the finances. The company that I worked for had a corporate takeover and I lost my job this year. Our finances were hurt badly. We decided to file for Chapter 7 to eliminate our debt. Not long after that she claimed she wanted a divorce. It slipped out during a discussion about the Ch. 7 filing that she would be happy that she could move on. I was totally shocked at this. I did get her talked into going to counseling. I will do whatever it takes and had been doing that to keep my family together. She has stated that she is only doing the counseling to make the process easier to do fo me. She has moved all of her personal things out of our bedroom and some even out of the house to her mother's house. She has most everything packed. She claims she is taking our daughter also who is near 5 years old. At my current place of work, my daughter attends pre-school. She sometimes does not allow her to go and takes her to her mothers instead against my will. I do not eat, sleep and have literally become ill over all of this. I need some advice and pray every day that this is a bad nightmare and my wife and daughter will not be gone when I get home from work each day.
