I am from Minnesota and found a good job out of state.  I have my lawyer filing a motion with the courts asking that I be allowed to move out of state.  I have custody of my 2 children and I have had custody for going on 3 years.  I have since remarried to a wonderful woman.  My ex-wife has been harrasing us since before I got custody.  She has claimed to the courts recently that my current wife is abusing the children.  The courts ruled that the abuse was not happening after several investigations found the same thing.  I am sure that she will try to contest me moving out of state claiming that I am moving to interfere with her visiting time.  I was just wondering if anybody else has had these problems and what the courts did about it.  I am also curious as to how the courts go about it as far as letting me move.  Once I get the job I only have 6 weeks to move there.

Well here is an Update.  I got the job now.  I was informed on Monday.  I still have not been back to court to get a decision on the move yet.  They have a guardian ad litem investigating but she is taking her time.  I have court on March 8th now after several postponements by the court before they finaly named the guardian ad litem.  It then took 4 weeks before she came to visit then it took her 3 more weeks before she visited my ex.  We only have 3 weeks before court.  On the lighter side.  My ex has not paid child support in almost 1 year.  Childrens services is now finally going to go after her for contempt of court for failing to pay and also trying to pull her drivers license.
